OneNote Apple Watch Issue

OneNote on my Apple Watch keeps prompting me to sign in to OneNote on my iPhone. I am successfully signed into OneNote on my iPhone (with two accounts actually, my work and school OneNote accounts). I’ve rebooted the Apple Watch and reinstalled the OneNote app on there. No luck.
I’m having a horrendous time to get support from Microsoft on this. Vst host for mac. I’ve been through Twitter support, OneNote chat support, OneDrive email support, plus I also reached out to my work and school IT department. No one can resolve my issue.
Is there another avenue I can try, and if this is an issue that needs to be reported to Microsoft’s developers, where could I report it?
Thanks!

Have you tried Apple’s Apple Watch support ?

Using Onenote On Apple Watch
- Bear is a free note-taking app, available across all devices such as the iPad, iPhone, Mac, and Apple Watch. The home screen of the Bear app on your Apple Watch will simply give you a list of all the existing notes with a dictation button on top. You can add a new note by tapping the button and voicing your thoughts.
- Microsoft OneNote If you enjoy Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel, and OneNote, then you’ll like OneNote on your Apple Watch. Sign in with your Microsoft account to create notebooks and notes, view recent notes with a tap, and set up notifications and a badge app icon on your iOS device.
Onenote Apple Watch
While it might be troublesome to find a pen and paper at night while the lights of your room are off, having a notes app on Apple Watch can be much handy. To help you create, collect, and store the things you don’t want to forget, We have created a list of some of the best free notes app for Apple Watch. On your Apple Watch, press the Digital Crown to go to the Home Screen. If the screen is in list view, open the Settings app on your Apple Watch, tap App View, then tap Grid View. Press the Digital Crown, touch and hold an app until they all jiggle, then drag it to a new location. Press the Digital Crown when you’re done. I use my Apple Watch to add notes into OneNote. Unfortunately, the add note (+) sign disappeared from the OneNote app on the Apple Watch. I can only read the notes but cannot add to them. Any suggestions?
